Empowering women through their active participation in local governance has helped develop a more genuine voice for women, but simply having reservations for women in panchayats is not enough for true empowerment. Attitudinal change towards women in both genders is necessary, and specific support beyond technical training is needed. To address this, Jan Chetna works with elected women PRI members and encourages interaction between rural and urban women. The Aagaz Academy in Udaipur offers a 21-day training program for elected women representatives to develop leadership skills. 56 out of 98 women PRIs in Abu Road attended the Women's Leadership Workshop.
